Team Rooms unify your resources against their objectives. They can be used widely to support projects, jobs, missions, departments and functions.  They could, for example, be used by a construction company to pool the talent, documents, drawings and activities of a team working on a large construction project. You could even invite your client or external agencies like building inspectors to join you in your team room.  If your marketing team is working on a large advertising project they may pool and coordinate their activities in a dedicated team room.  Think of this like Sharepoint, but Sharepoint without the pain or hassle. No, you don't need a dedicated IT team to implement the team rooms.  Give it a name, and go!

Team Rooms give your people and resources a place where they can work together.  By making it easy for your users to work together you simplify their daily activities.  By focusing their activities in Team Rooms based on their department or project role you draw their focus directly to what needs to be done.  Your priorities become naturally aligned throughout that team.  With integral documents, tasks, calendar, wiki, blogs and messages its easy for teams to see exactly what is happening with Who, When, Where and Why.  It enables seamless collaboration, even allowing your clients and suppliers to use the Team Room if they are added and you have the self-service functionality available in the Business Applications Suite.  Consolidating information and people around what they are trying to achieve is the purpose of the Team Rooms application suite.

All application features shown in the picture (above) are included in the Team Rooms application suite for each user other than Projects. Projects requires the seperate Project Management application to be enabled on your business application suite to appear inside the team rooms. All other application areas are included.
